4. Why are you learning Japanese?:
I studied Japanese for 3 months in 2001 as I liked Japan and Japanese culture, especially Jiu Jitsu and Judo. Then in December 2008, I found myself at Japaneasy by mistake looking for a meditation class. I remember seeing Mina and all the staff then. They were so friendly and nice I decided to stay and study Japanese. I studied until April when I went to Japan. Due to my consumption of sake, I did not study much in Japan and only recently came back to class after 5 great months in Japan.
5. How is your Japanese study?:
My Japanese study is great. I love it. Learning grammar is a challenge, but I love learning Kanji, it feels so natural.
6. Why did you choose JAPANEASY?:
There are so many reasons, I guess it is such a natural, friendly environment. When I am at ease, I learn best, that is why I choose Japaneasy. Also Mina is a highly intelligent teacher, who I respect greatly.
7. How would you like learning Japanese in JAPANEASY?:
Mina sensei (Our Professor) and all our teachers are the best teachers I have had, they make learning Japanese so much fun. Going to class feels like I am out with friends. I laugh and learn at the same time.
8. Your favorite Nihongo and reasons?:
"切れる剣のように、それ自身を切ることができない / Like a sword that cuts, but cannot cut itself. 見る目のように、それ自身を見ることができない / Like an eye that sees, but cannot see itself. It reminds me of the beauty of Sakura, the Cherry Blossom. We like the blossom, we can give so much to this world, but we must give and receive, the only way we can truly see our own beauty is through the eyes of another, in daily acts of kindness.
